CALLER ID SPOOFING is when a scammer falsifies the information that appears on your caller ID in an attempt to trick you into providing sensitive information. So, it is your/our responsibility to protect your privacy and confidential information.
- HCICU will never contact you in order to ask you for your account number, online banking username/password, PIN, debit card number or social security number.
- Regardless of the phone number you see on your caller ID, do not provide ANY information.
- When in doubt, do not respond. Simply hang up and call us immediately by dialing (208) 275-0069.
